As part of its Mozart season, the esteemed London venue Kings Place and it’s cultural centre has launched “Mozart (Un)Rapped” – a project aimed at bridging the gap between classical and contemporary music.

Middle Man that Yungun is, who loves a bit of gap-bridging. he jumped at the chance to get involved.

The challenge? Make a banging hip-hop track out of a Mozart piece recorded by King’s Place residents the Aurora Orchestra. Virtuoso beat-makers Kosyne, Kelakovski and Taharka (from the Louis Den and Eat Good Records collectives) did the hard part. They made short work of chopping the sample up into a neck-snapping beat.

All Yungun had to say was a few words. Watch the clip below to see him laying the vocals down at his home studio and click the link to hear the final version.
