Every two weeks www.22tracks.com gets a different DJ/Artist to ‘Takeover’ the playlist which consists of current favorites. This week London-based producer Eric Lau takes over he is known for his work with artists like Lupe Fiasco, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Guilty Simpson, Oddisee, Tanya Morgan, and several others.
He’s also a well respected DJ having toured the world and supported acts such as Erykah Badu, Questlove and Robert Glasper to name a few. His debut album ʻNew Territoriesʼ was nominated as one of Gilles Petersonʼs Worldwide Top Albums of the Year 2008. A new offering called ‘Quadrivium’ followed, 2011 saw the completion of ʻThe Mission EPʼ by Detroit’s Guilty Simpson.
