The \u201cGodfather of Dancehall\u201d who created the classics \u201cBuddy Bye,\u201d \u201cNo Ice Cream Sound\u201d and \u201cLittle Sound Boy\u201d is a well-deserved moniker for Errol \u201cJohnny\u201d Osbourne describing his contribution to Reggae music as it has evolved from the local Jamaican community to the international arena.<\/strong><\/p>\n

His song \u201cSing Jay Stylee\u201d is viewed by many as the precursor to the Dancehall phenomenon evidenced in popular Jamaican music culture today. The evolution of this aspect in the 80\u2019s prompted an increase in sound systems around the globe and necessitated the need for \u201cdubs\u201d. As sound system selectors in every crevice and corner of the world craved to establish dominancy, the demand for \u201cdubs\u201d escalated immensely.
