A TRIBUTE TO THE 90’S VOLUME 2
Back by popular demand, The Main Ingredients Crew, along with FBI 94.5fm, brings you the second installment of “A Tribute To The 90’s” featuring the legendary DJ J Period live and direct from New York City!
With a resume that includes DJ & remix work for Grammy winners Lauryn Hill, The Roots, Kanye West and Mary J. Blige, J.Period has become one of hip hop’s undisputed Mixtape Kings and most respected DJ/Remixers!
Recently J Period embarked on his most ambitious remix project to date: an all-star tribute to Q-Tip (A Tribe Called Quest),including new tracks from Talib Kweli, De La Soul, Black Thought, Questlove, Busta Rhymes and more!
J Period can also be heard in Australia doing his “True Elements” segment monthly on the JJJ Hip Hop Show.
A Tribute to the 90’s – Volume 2 will also include an all-star line up of MC’s performing the classics that made the 90’s the “Golden Era” of Hip Hop and is also the official launch of “Grindin’ Volume 2” mixed by J Period.
